ABILITY: Eagle Eye
DESCRIPTION: This is an 'advanced', 'ranged', 'accuracy' ability. This character has the distinction of being able to hit targets at extreme range with a rifle, crossbow, bow & arrow, or thrown weapon, either through remarkable instincts or superior visual acuity. Does not work with pistols.

ABILITY: Reload? What's That?
DESCRIPTION: This is an 'advanced' 'ranged' ability. This character, in classic anime style, seemingly never has to reload their weapon and never runs out of ammunition (except to create dramatic tension). This applies strictly to pistols, rifles, and crossbows when applicable -- it does not extend to bow & arrows or large siege weapons like cannons, catapults, trebuchets, or ballistas.

COMBAT SKILLS ~ DEFENSIVE
DESCRIPTION: This is an 'advanced', 'melee', 'mind', 'force' ability. This character has tapped a deep reservoir of spiritual power within the depths of their being, granting them remarkable spiritual fortitude. They can resist 'mind' attacks (except for 'top tier') up to twice the ★ level of this ability. Additionally, they can counter 'simple' and 'common' attack spells up to twice this ability's ★ level, batting away ranged attacks with their hands or feet and powering through area-of-effect and blast radius spells as though their body were surrounded in a protective barrier. This also works verses non-magical energy attacks; however, if the enemy is a Mazoku or Golden Dragon then Inner Power must match the ★ level of the attack -- Inner Power has no effect verses the attacks of the Dragon Gods, Mazoku Lords, or awakened fragments of Shabranigdo.
At 5 ★s, Inner Power can counter 'advanced' attack spells.

COMBAT SKILLS ~ MISC
DESCRIPTION: This is an 'advanced' 'speed' ability. This character's reflexes are highly attuned and they have physical aptitudes to match. This allows them to perform impressive feats such as deflecting thrown weapons, slicing the clothing off a foe without drawing blood, striking tiny vulnerable spots with pinpoint accuracy, or splitting a hair in half with a blade -- even countering an enemy without looking at their foe or the incoming attack(s). The exact nature of a character's Lightning Reflexes is dependent on their combat proficiencies -- this ability requires either Superior Weapon Focus or Superior Unarmed Combat Focus (or their more advanced forms) and must be used in a way that reflects these Traits.
